Hyderabad India 2007

India is a wonderful place for western photographers because of the interesting and friendly people, the light, and the wealth of subject matter. On this trip, the highlight was visiting temples off the beaten path. The beggars were all shot on the steps leading up to the temple. At first they wanted money, but then they became excited about seeing their own images on the digital camera back and they began to select their own poses.
