Portland Health Course

"Spring over bar, legs outstretched. Return crouching to starting position." Families should do 4 reps, men should do 8.

 

If you walk along Terwilliger in Portland, look for little pathways off to the east side of the street and you'll find the old Portland Health Course. I don't know what year that this was put in place but some of these are pretty great. There's a set of rings at one station so you can practice your iron cross and then there are a few others with simple jumping jacks and whatnot. These are really starting to degrade now and those that are less hidden have been vandalised a bit. I'd love to photograph them all, though.
