When I'm Gone

I was leaving Kamloops when in my rear view mirror, I noticed warm colors on the far horizon. After a short deliberation, I turned the car and returned. However, the color was happening on the other side of town, and would take too long to reach. I had unsuccessfully worked to capture the Red Bridge earlier, so decided to use it in the shot.

I quickly parked, grabbed my gear, and made for the river's edge. After setting up, the rain began and we see it on the surface of the water. Onlookers gawked as I composed, and captured the moment. My gear is pretty much water proof, so the weather rarely concerns me, except to capture it. Kamloops has been a gold mine for photographic opportunities. The many hoodoos, rivers, mountains, changing weather patterns, and various other elements, combine to give much to my camera.
