A Safe Place
Reflections can be so beautiful and fun to work with. This one comes from the hills in Drumheller and the South Saskatchewan River. Early morning light rendered many opportunities and this was among the last. I was travelling back to our hotel thinking that I was finished when this lovely sight remained.
Still too early for traffic, it was so simple to pull over on the highway, grab my tripod and set up in a safe place. The small dots in the reflections added to the detail and interest in the image. The colored bands or striations in the hills further illustrated their age.
