The Prize
This is my prize shot and the one that will be on the cover of my book. While the rest of the group moved on, I waited for that cloud to move into the ideal positiion. Numberous shots prior to this have the cloud to the right and result in a less balanced shot. No cloud and it's to plain. The shadows and the ever so slightly green toned foreground brush contribute to breakup the veins in the red sand.
It was Tom our guide, who presented this area to our group. Money well spent to get just the right light and an area only Navajo are aloud to enter.
