A Medieval Fayre, Jousting Tournament ,and living history weekend held at Traquair house, near Innerleithen in Peeblesshire Scotland.
Traquair house is the oldest inhabited house in Scotland near Innerleithen,
Re-enactors in authentic period costume, Birds of prey and Elite Falconry displays..
See how knights of old wore there armour and how they managed to put it on with the help if a servant.
Fantastic duelling displays Swords, poles Arms and spears.
A demonstration of combat techniques with authentic period weapons. See the main battle. A 15th century battle with Blood guts and disembowelling.
The jester will also be wandering about along with Gaia the witch .
Try your hand at Long bow archery. Mistress Quill will be story telling, The Scottish Plainsong Choir will be warbling away .
Not forgetting Hautbios will be performing 15th century music on period instruments.
