D2258 (a rare blue Class 04) at C F Booth 1986
Class 04 D2258 sits awaiting its fate at C F Booths Rotherham scrap yard on the 27th of September 1986. This was one of very few class 04`s to receive the corporate blue BR livery before withdrawal. After many years of NCB service retaining this livery, there would be no escape & the loco had been consigned to oblivion by the year end.
