Holy dip at the Golden Temple/ Harmandir Sahib

The 'sarovar' (water body) around the Golden Temple is considered to be containing holy water. It is believed that a dip in the 'sarovar' cleanses one of their sins.

 

Taken just after sunrise, one is amazed at the pristine marble of the temple premises and the humble people around with thier dazzlingly colourful turbans.
