Another configuration of elements for the possible step in the "exquisite corpse" game. The frame is something that I've had for years sitting in the garage. I found it in the scrap pile at the University of Memphis' art building. It's missing a backing board, hence the MDF laying below. I've since cut the MDF, attached it to the frame and gessoed it. What you're also seeing are actual egg shells that I hollowed out 2 years ago.. I think it was two years. I tend to work in bursts and make (or assemble or whatever ya wanna call it) things that I will likely incorporate into larger pieces at a later date. Although it really isn't my problem, I feel that if I had made this piece like this, the next stage of the exquisite corpse would be nearly impossible for the artist to attribute anything to it as she is primarily a 2D artist. Though, she is clever enough to work out a way to add her own spin to the 3rd portion of the exquisite corpse game. Regardless, for practical reasons, I think this solution is a "no." I have to mail this bad-boy to Iowa and it's unlikely the shifting of egg shells would survive that journey.
