Palouse Greens, USA
Years ago I saw photgraphs of the soft rolling landscape of the Palouse region, a gently rolling landscape covered in a smooth carpet of grass. Ever since it has been on my wish list. It is however not that straightforward to get there. Being a tourist from overseas it means traveling to an area far away from many photographable spots. You have to travel many miles just for this. But I am so glad when in 2024 it was finally possible. I had made sure to be there at the right time of the year and the day, and the sun and the light did not disappoint. This photo with its green waves and lonely tree was exactly what I hoped for.
