Callanish Standing Stones, Scotland

This is an oldie that somehow fell between the cracks. It is the impressive stone circle of Callanish or Calanais, on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. This photo was taken at sunset with a million midges spoiling the fun. It still starts to itch when I think of that.
