Evening in Stockholm (explored)
My work often takes me to Stockholm, and I usually do not have evenings off, but on this occassion I did and ordered a taxi to get me to this viewpoint. Traveling for work, I did not have my best (and heaviest) equipment with me, and merely a very small tripod. When I got there I was dismayed because there was a chicken wire fence and my tripod was not big enough to rise above it. In the end I had to balance my camera on my tripod on the top of the fence. It was very wobbly, and a mere gust of wind frequently moved the camera. But in between many failed attempts, there was also this shot. I love the evening colours here and the golden sunset. I posted another version of this photo a few years ago, and it remains my most faved photo on Flickr without Explore.
