White Temple, Chiang Rai, Thailand (explored)
A recent trip to Thailand, and this was one place I really looked forward to visiting. It attracts masses of tourists, so I went at 6 am after having been informed that you can enter that early. This was not the case, so the image I was hoping for, of the temple reflected in the pond was not possible. However, it did mean no one else could enter so I was able to get a photo without other people.
Wat Rong Khun (Thai: วัดร่องขุ่น); White Temple, is a contemporary, unconventional, privately owned, art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It is owned by Chalermchai Kositpipat, who designed, constructed, and opened it to visitors in 1997 (Wikipedia).
