Rognan Church, Norway

Rognan is a small village in northern Norway that is not typically on any photographers wish list. I might never have found this spot if I hadn't stayed overnight in a local hotel and took my camera and tripod for a little exploration. This setting has a number of wonderful elements; the Norwegian winter landscape, the reflection in the fjord, the blue hour illumination and the street lights which make for perfect star bursts on the photo. The photo was taken in February but it has such a Chistmassy feel that I decided to wait with posting until December.
