Arthur and a friend

This is another one of the photos that lay hidden in the back of my grandmother's photo album for decades. I'm fairly sure that they're in their boy scout uniforms as they look very similar to the uniforms that Franklin and his troop are wearing in a 1931 photo that I have of them.

 

I think uncle Art is the one on our left and, based on his apparent age, I'd say this was probably taken in 1939 or 1940.
