Lunch time!

Lunching an argentinian traditional food: "Milanesas" with mashed potatoes. Yummy!

 

Milanesas: thin slice of beef, dipped into beaten eggs, seasoned with salt, and other condiments according to the cook's taste. Each slice is then dipped in breadcrumbs and shallow-fried in oil, one at a time.

 

We prefer to use very little oil and then cook them into an oven as a healthier alternative.

 

Almorzando un plato tradicional de Argentina: Milanesas con puré! Ñam, ñam, ñam!

 

Milanesas: Finos bifes de carne de vaca, empapados en huevos batido, sazonados con sal y otros condimentos según el gusto del cocinero. Cada pieza se empasta en pan rallado y se fríe en aceite, de a una por vez.

 

Nosotros preferimos utilizar muy poco aceite y luego cocinarlas al horno, como una alternativa más saludable.
