Unlike other paintings in the hotel, this one lacks a description in English. I would be most grateful if a flickerite with a knowledge of Amharic could provide a translation.
Even without a translation, I found it interesting how flooring in this painting resembles the colors and patterns in the windows of the New Church of St. Mary of Zion in Axum. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.
