Hot fat fire

Active Assignment Weekly: July 25 - August 1: One Moment in Time

Whilst I have been a member of this group, which is only a few months really, there have been one or two assignments involving motion and blur. What I would like to see for this week's assignment is motion, but 'caught in the act' as it were. Something that might happen for only a brief moment, captured in a picture, as in the examples below.

Restrictions: No water splashes/droplets ON THEIR OWN although people and/or animals causing splashes are welcome.

WIT

A demonstration of a hot fat fire (chip pan fire) at Worthing firestation open day.

The fireman is pouring a cup of water onto a burning pan and the resulting inferno. It was taken with my telephoto lens, but only at 55mm, so we were stood pretty close and could feel the heat hit us like a wall when the water was poured on. See the fireman who was pouring on the water here
