My 2nd US Visa Paperwork
On the Prague US consulate website, they suggest to bring as many supporting documents as possible, including bank statements, business licenses, invitation letters, and the like. So I really did gather a lot of these even though I never expected any problems because I was applying already for my second US visa.
I paid 2200 CZK for the visa, 185 CZK for the courier service (the only means of passport delivery available), spent about 6 minutes on the phone (special charge 38 CZK per minute = 228 CZK) arranging my visa interview, and paid 200 CZK for the pictures. The total cost was about 2800 CZK (about 145 USD, as of November 2007) and 6 hours of my time.
In the end, they only wanted to see my application forms, passport, courier envelope, and payment receipts. I never used the rest. However, the embassy staff was very friendly and professional.
