Ixora lobbii var. stenophylla (Ridl.) Corner. Rubiaceae. CN: [Malay - Generically called Meroyan, Bunga selang, Penabas, Kelat tanduk, Jarum hutan], Ixora. A rheophyte and found growing near rocky stream banks and banks of fast flowing streams in lowland forest. A shrub reaching ca 2 m height. Species is capable of surviving when submerged by torrential floodwaters.
