Snow Bunting - I Claim This Pebble [Last Image 2010] - Explored Front Page!

Well it's been an interesting year. It started great with a rarity for these parts the Slavonian Grebe, when I found a couple on New Years Day and got close shots, and then year just got better. I may not have seen too many Rare birds but the close encounters I've had with wildlife has been fantastic. The Highlight having been the Young Pair of Stoats at Conwy. It's a close call though with close shots of a Buzzard, A Dipper, Barn Owl and this snow bunting to name just a few.

 

The one Bird that really did seem to get the better of me this year had to be the Wheatear! I managed one close shot and every other time it was off and gone before i could near, but you can't have everything.

 

I hope 2011 will be a Great year again for me and all my Contracts and I look Forward to seeing all your fantastic images.
