The Doodlewash Bash - Sung to the tune of the Monster Mash:

 

On a walk through the graveyard, late one night

My eyes beheld an eerie sight.

All the monsters were gathered there,

To party down and paint plein air.

 

Chorus:

Wa-ooooh!

They did the wash, they did the Doodlewash

October prompts, they were awesomesauce.

They did them all, it was quite the romp

When the monsters did the Doodlewash prompts.

Wa-ooooh!

 

With watercolor, a zombie clown,

He was painting with mummy brown.

Wolfman was sketching Frankenstein,

With Conte crayon in bone and sanguine.

On vellum skin worked the graveyard ghouls,

Rubbing headstones with their graphite tools,

With oozing hands, the living dead,

Smeared face paint on Pumpkin Head.

Engraving symbols into the floor,

And onto the mausoleum door,

Skeleton shaved into stone

Using nothing but his finger bone.
