Velociraptor - a genus of dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur that lived approximately 75 to 71 million years ago during the latter part of the Cretaceous Period. Two species are currently recognized, although others have been assigned in the past. Lived 100.5 million - 66 million years ago (Cretaceous - Maastrichtian) era. Eats Protoceratops and Shuvuuia. Fossils of Velociraptor were first found in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia in 1922.

July 2017, Prehisto Dino Parc (Est. 1998) after 19 years in time. In the year 2023 it's 25 years since.

Lacave: Prehisto Dino Parc - Prehistoric life

Near the small village of Lacave the "Prehisto Dino Parc" is a very nice walk in the heart of the forest. Along a long path with sounds and animated animals and organised with a fun and educational signage, visitors go to meet dinosaurs and discover the daily life of the first humans. The 150 life size representations will be a total immersion in the Jurassic and prehistoric era.
