Movie Park Germany (Est. 1967) - a theme park in Bottrop-Kirchhellen. It consists of 7 themed areas like Hollywood Street Set, Streets of New York, Nickland, The Old West, Santa Monica Pier, Adventure Lagoon and Federation Plaza, all based on movies and TV series. Later newer themes from 20th Century Fox were added from MGM and Nickelodeon and Van Helsing, AMC's The Walking Dead and Star Trek by CBS. The Halloween Horror Fest is an annual event around Halloween time that began in October 1998. It features over 250 scare actors and extra attractions like mazes and scarezones, as well as shows.
