Even for somebody that isn't a great birder, the WSU Raptor club makes life pretty easy. This is Widget. Widget is a barn owl, but was happy enough to be awake this Saturday mid-morning. Unlike most of the resident birds, Widget is perfectly healthy. He's just too friendly (as imprinted birds tend to be). While certainly not tame, Widget is an outgoing bird that is just too curious and approachable for his own good.
