The Way Out of Sorrow
I was told that there are three ways out of sorrow yesterday.
Tapas (penance)
Vairagaya (dispassion)
Sharanagati (surrender)
Tapas is agreeing with the moment, total acceptance of pleasant or unpleasant situations.
Vairagya means "I am nothing" and "I want nothing."
Sharanagati is "I am here for you, for your joy."
All these three, they purify the mind and uplift the soul.
So I was told.
