in this single frame you can see about half of the total space of my fourth apartment in China. as it turns out, not only was this place the smallest (and most expensive, for what i was getting!), but this "high-security" residence community turned out to be a complete farce! i'd rather not go into the whole thing here, but let's just leave it at this: in America, renter's have the upper-hand; in China, it's certainly the landloards
