Kick off Your Shoes.....
Our first night out in the Mt. Baker Wilderness. We hiked in 5 miles, skirting three beautiful lakes and found this spot to set up camp. Partial shade to escape the sun, great view to the north into Canada, and only about 40 ft away from Arbuthnot Lake....perfect for drinking/cooking water or taking a dip.
A pair of crocs or other sort of strapped/breathable sandle is a must while backpacking. Always feels great to take the boots off and let the dogs breath a bit ;)
