Fluorite octahedrons

Fluorite is in the isometric crystal system with perfect cleavage in three directions.

While octahedrons can be found in nature, they most often occur as cubes.

Loose or single octahedral shaped crystals (like these) found for sale are cleaved from cubes of fluorite.
