Florals While Afloat
I've been spending much more time this year on the water for a couple of reasons: 1) I experienced a few unpleasant run-ins with ticks in the woods earlier in the year and I am unaware of any aquatic species; 2) I am finally feeling strong enough to fight the occasional battle between wind and canoe with the expectation that I will not end up in a sheltered cove for several days; 3) It's been hot and it's the best place I can think of for working on my tan lines.
It also provides a great opportunity to observe some of the aquatic flowers that populate the shorelines. In addition to the water lilies which I've documented elsewhere (yet continue to be photographically irresistible), here are a few more which provide interest throughout much of the summer.
