Rover and Friends?
This rather obscure reference is to the late 60's British cult TV classic "The Prisoner" created by and starring Patrick McGoohan. Rover, as very few of you indeed may recall, was the "balloon/bubble" security device employed in the resort-like confinement facility holding Mr. McGoohan (also known as Number 6).
In any event, before you think I've gone completely daft...if you haven't concluded so already...it was below freezing upon awakening this morning, resulting in an enveloping fog, which, in turn resulted in this image of my favorite path next to the house. I did not travel the path, it being a bit nippy at the time. A good thing it appears, for unbeknownst to me but clearly visible to my camera, it appears that it was guarded by these ephemeral "circles," which, to make a long story short, reminded me of Rover from the above-mentioned series.
Perhaps, I do need some company after all...
