faceted amethyst & gears steampunk earrings

Another birthday gift was a small string of very nice faceted amethyst beads. These are very similar to the other pair I made except the bottom gears are smaller. That's okay because - faceted amethyst! hurrah. Steampunk / industrial? I think these would be fancy enough for a ngiht on the town or casually elegant at work.
