Steampunk Silver Bee Necklace - no longer available

Okay, I admit - I didn't cast the bee! But I did Steampunk her. She's all geared up - not just with gears but also with tiny screws and a delicate watch-hand detail.

 

I love to use the balance wheel parts but I'd be afraid to use them without some kind of re-enforcement - so they have a bit of backup. I'll make a note on them.

 

She's got matching watch-parts on either side. I know most people might not realize this - but usually the parts are the same - so they aren't "mirror images". Lucky for me I found one piece that was. The symmetry works well on this very steampunk piece of jewelry.

 

The bee herself is sterling silver as are the tiny tinly little spiders dangling off the sides. I could always change them for flowers if someone finds the spiders too creepy. I think they are cute.

 

I also decided to make the chain = because I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. I'll have to upload another shot that shows it all off.
