Scania R Series Topline (01)
Designed specially for Moscow Technic Festival on Aug, 26, this Scania Topline truck is powered with a pair of large motors, servo steering, remote control and return-to-centre saddle for easier coupling. The manual functions are presented with openable doors and cab, as well as rear door of the trailer with locking mechanism.
The trailer itself is equipped with another receiver as well as 2 medium motors for coupling / decoupling and outriggers + brake system. Apart from own weight and batteries, the truck is capable to transport at least 1kg extra load, which was the requirement for Rig'n'Roll competition back at the festival.
Hopefully, the video of coupling and driving process (as well as the whole challenge with other contestants) will be published soon - there were enough people filming this whole thing :D
