Engine Driver

Driver of one of the trains at North Norfolk steam Railway, aka the Poppy Line.

He is standing on the footplate of a Hunslet Class 16 0-6-0 saddle tank engine called Ring Haw. Built in Leeds in 1940, it spent its entire working life at Nassington Stone Quarry near Peterborough, and was bought by its current owners in 1970. It has just returned to service following extensive repairs over the last two years.
