Class S15: I

My artistic objective for this photo was to produce a high-contrast monochrome image in which the main smoke blast is as dark as the locomotive's front end. For this I needed to reduce the smoke's brightness before turning up the contrast on the whole image. Additionally, some of the smoke has been left unaltered to keep a pleasing realistic plume.
