"Lydham Manor" pulls the Devon Belle Observation Car up from Kingswear to Greenway on a rainy afternoon.

 

This photograph is a homage to the winner of the Cambridge University Railway Club photography competition 1948, which shows a SR N Class banking the Devon Belle up the 1 in 36 gradient out of Ilfracombe, seen from inside the Observation Car.
