Functional Crochet

I needed costers to protect my newly painted window ledge and didn't think the cardboard scraps I'd been using were nice enough any more, so I made these out of

plastic bags.

 

I also made a little pouch for my card reader with an elasticated opening, and began making a pouch for a penny whistle.

 

I have little flurries of enthusiasm for crochet, and they usually end right in the middle of a project.

I have a draw purely dedicated to storing my unfinished ideas!
