innocence is bliss

these are old uploads, but i finally got lightroom today so i took some of my favorite pictures to practice on.

 

This series is by far my favorite. I love the idea of innocence in children because they are the only ones who truly aren't yet tainted by society's flaws. Innocence is an amazing quality to have and a dangerous one to lose, which we all do at some point.

 

I named this "innocence is bliss" because innocence is only innocence when you're young. I feel like no one can be innocent once they learn how the world works. Ignorant, yes, but innocent, no.

 

My point is, this is why I love photographing babies and kids. They are the only ones who can genuinly express these types emotions without having to pose.
