~ Blue ~

My eyes trust.

Some say

too easily.

 

They hope

by seeing things

others miss

or choose not to see.

 

I don’t often listen to the doubt in my mind,

but see my fellow humans

in crystal blue Light:

pure, shining and true.

 

Sometimes people laugh at the chance I give them,

and fail,

more than my eyes could have ever imagined.

I then become wounded and confused.

 

My eyes are broken,

but they never learn
