Metaphor - You Light Up My Life
Metaphors are widely used in every language. They are per definition quite visual. However I have seldomly seen metaphors transferred into a picture. So go ahead.
Restriction: Keeping photoshopping to a minimum.
Dare: Bring in the meaning of the metaphor itself. For example: "It is raining cats and dogs" could be a picture of falling cats and dogs (don't hurt em though). But the dare would include that the picture shows these falling cats and dogs in heavy rain. Understand?
And yes I know that the dare is hard to comply to together with the restriction. But hey, we're not in kindergarten here.
WIT: After coming home from church (while still dressed up) I went to our basement, set up the camera on the tripod. Had to change the camera settings to keep the light from being a white bright blob in the shot. It looks like the HULK in the shadow behind me. There was no photoshopping or cropping.
I sang this song as a Freshman in HS at a choral concert and saw the phase again while looking for metaphors.
Did you know that was Debby Boone's only hit single? It has been a favorite of mine since 1977-78.
