Ras Prince Monolulu whose real name was Peter Carl Mackay was a horse-racing tipster. Monolulu claimed to be a chief of the Falasha tribe of Abyssinia, but the reality is that he came from the Caribbean island of St. Croix. He reportedly died by choking on a 'strawberry cream' given to him by Jeffrey Bernard who was visiting him in hospital.
