Home of the Elves

The beautiful land of Iceland is not just a wonderful discovery for us nowadays. Even for the inhabitants a long time before us it was a magical place to be. The Icelandic culture doesn't have a long history, but is rich of different myths and sagas.

 

According to some of the folklore stories the rock formations in the water should have been the home of some tribes of elves. There couldn't be any other explanation for the extraordinary forms of the rocks then that it was the architecture of a creature we didn't understand that well...
