Megachile otomita
I am pretty sure this is an American resin bee which I came across in the flower beds of a viewpoint in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.
If I'm right then it's interesting because it's an American species that managed to cross the Atlantic, first appearing in Tenerife in 2015. There have been a handful of subsequent reports that have been interpreted as establishment (Strudwick and Jacobi, 2018). This sighting provides further evidence for this.
