Pyrrhocoris apterus (m+f)
A pair of firebugs working on increasing the already large population of these insects on the banks of the Rhine at Bonn. This is a common species in Europe but rare in the UK with just a few isolated colonies. However, it is likely that they will become mores established as global warming takes hold.
