Bombus campestris

A field cuckoo bumblebee taking nectar from kidney vetch flowers on the clifftop at Penally. Cuckoo bumblebees mimic nesting species, in this case the common carder bee, so they can get into the nests to lay their eggs to be raised by the hosts.
