Penally Pacer
143602 is one of a small number of Pacer DMUs currently operated by Transport for Wales. It was photographed leaving Penally en route to Swansea.
The Pembroke Dock to Swansea line passed our living room window so I was able to keep an eye on the rolling stock used. Mostly, this was Class 150 2-car sets, but also Class 153 single cars frequently turned up either alone or as a 3-car set with a 150. This pacer showed up once.
The Pacer DMUs have a limited future due to accessibility issues. They may get a major overhaul, but I suspect they may be set for disposal.
