Concept #1

The layout I'm presenting my concepts in shows the spread of the record jacket, back and front, and below it, the record label.

Here I wanted to play with the checker pattern, trying to add dimension and transform it so that it wouldn't be so "typical" as seen in a lot of other ska album art. I wanted the back to start as a formatted checkered grid, then progressing to the front of the jacket where the band name kicks in and everything gets crazy and out of order, like in the song.
