Updated Batman Villains
Made a few updates to some of my custom Batman villain minifigures.
From L to R:
Hush: The old head was alright, but I found myself not completely satisfied with it. One problem was trying to keep the eye hole and mouth hole open while wrapping the bandages, so with the new one, I decided to not worry about having a bandage in-between the eyes or having a mouth hole. Also, I cut the stud off all the way when I made my first one, and it looked kinda odd. So on this one, I only cut it off a little, and layered the tap over the head to keep the rounded shape. I then gave the entire thing a heavy black wash. Also outlined the last pocket on the vest that I forgot to outline.
Manbat: Manbat was one I was happy with, but realized after a little but of criticism that he did not fit in with the rest of the figures. His face was very cartooney and his torso was a bit plain. So, I painted a new face, this actually being the third version with an open mouth, as I was not happy with my V2 close mouth face either. I also added just a few more line to the torso and back. You may notice the wings are different too. I tried to add an elbow joint to them. While it works, I am still not 100% sold on them yet, and there still may be a V3 of the wings further down the road, but these will due for now.
Killer Moth: Finally, with Killer Moth, I decided I was not satisifed with the dark green color I used on him. It was to dark IMO for him, and matched to much with the skin tone of my Killer Croc. So, I ended up using the olive green color that I used on my Riddler and Ivy, and I have to say, I like this color a lot better.
What do you guys think? Do the improvements look better? Which is your favorite improvement?
