Censer (6th-7th c. CE)

Museum Writeup: "In the Early Byzantine period, the burning of incense, common during Christian church services, also accompanied private worship in the home. The aromatic scent honored God and the saints, and was also thought to ward off evil spirits. This hanging censer (incense burner) was intended for private devotion, as is clear from the Greek inscription that names its owner, a woman."
